Welcome to the Athletics club at Cwmrhydyceirw

During the spring and summer terms at our school we have Athletics club.

This is usually run on a Tuesday at lunch time.

Boys and girls from years five and six are invited to attend.

During the club we have the opportunity to practise the various disciplines of athletics events.

Cwmrhydyceirw has a very good pedigree throughout the years and regularly qualify for the Swansea schools finals.

Also a number of our pupils qualified for the Swansea finals at Ashley road stadium last year, competing against the winner of the heats from schools around the Swansea area.

James Jones was invited to to take part in the regional south Wales team in the long jump.
