Music plays a big part of our lives at Cwmrhydyceirw.

We have 2 school choirs and an orchestra.

 

The infant choir is run by Mrs. Hannah Giles and is open to year 2 and 3 children. We meet during lunch time once a week to practise and learn new songs. Each year we perform some concerts for the rest of the school.

 

The junior choir is run by Mr Craig Rees and Mrs Ruth Llewellyn, and is open to year 4 - 6 children. We meet every Tuesday evening after school, from 3. 20pm until 4.00pm. We perform many concerts both within our school and for the wider community. Every year we also go to Dan Y Coed where we have the opportunity to play our musical instruments and perform as part of our school orchestra.

 

At Cwmrhydyceirw we also have the opportunity to learn musical instruments such as the flute and the clarinet.
